Cookie Policy
Updated 6 October 2026
Crossruled uses the browser storage it needs to sign you in and remember your display choices, and nothing else.
What is stored
Sign-in state: Firebase Authentication keeps your session in the browser's own storage so you stay signed in between visits; it is cleared when you sign out. Display preferences: your theme choice (light, dark or system) and whether the workspace sidebar is collapsed are kept in local storage on your device. None of this is read by anyone else and none of it identifies you to a third party. Our host may set a technical cookie needed to deliver the site securely, such as one used to protect against abuse; it is not used to track you.
No tracking
The website and the workspace set no analytics, advertising, retargeting or social-media cookies and load no third-party tracking script. That is why there is no consent banner: there is nothing optional to consent to. If that ever changes, a consent step with an equal accept and reject choice comes first, and this page changes with it.
Inside Microsoft Teams
When your company opens Crossruled as a tab inside Microsoft Teams, the same storage applies inside the tab, and Microsoft Teams itself sets its own cookies under your company's Microsoft agreement, which we do not control.
